Wow – Good Morning America is still here shooting. They are shooting us blogging and I’m posting this live as it happens. This has been a long day and I c an’t wait to share this with everyone. Hopefully they can’t read this on the screen, since I’m supposed to look “serious”. It’s amazing the journey we’ve traveled and I’m honored to share this with the world. Thanks for being along for the ride.

They are still shooting and I’m running out of things to say!

Hey there readers! Long time no see. I have missed blogging, but with how busy things have been, something had to give!

I just wanted to post a quick note to say that Shelby and I will be on Good Morning America (weekend edition?) telling our story with regards to our battle with male infertility, and the journey we took to get to the point where we are today. It’s very exciting, and a bit nerve racking, but if it wasn’t for this blog and my dear readers, I would never have had this opportunity. If my story helps just one person, than it will be worth it.

Baby G was born 11/17 at 7:02 PM. With me being sick for the first week of his life has been very hard, but I’m just starting to be able to help out. Being forced to stay away from him until 48 hours after my fever broke was heartbreaking, but for a good cause.

Mom (wow, I can say that!) and baby are doing fantastic. More details to come, but in the meantime, obligatory baby pics! I must admit, it’s hard to have the cutest baby (wow, I can say that!) on the block. Thank you all for following us through this journey. Stay tuned!

I still mourn what should have been, but am incredibly grateful for what will be.

Wow, a little more than 6 weeks to go! I can’t believe it.

That’s only 45 days; That’s only 1000 hours! I can smell it. It’s October and I can say we’re DUE NEXT FRICKING MONTH!

Time is flying by. My brother’s wedding that I spent so much time worrying about, and praying that Shelby’s belly is just HUGE for it was wonderful. She even did a good job not waddling down the isle! I remember, so vividly, being so nervous and scared writing a post about how so many life events are going on and Shelby’s pregnancy plays such a big part of it. Let’s recap;

• Friend due in Sept. Well, it was actually early august, and they had an adorable baby girl. While it is easier to deal with the birth, it was still a little harder than I expected. Their journey was different than ours, and part of me was still envious and even annoyed about it all.
• Best Man in brothers wedding. So awesome. Shelby was beautiful and I think I was happier seeing her waddle down the isle than the groom was when seeing the bride.
• Many engagement, bridal, and other parties. Everything was fun – I never get tired of talking about Shelby’s expanding belly. I can’t imaging what the alternative would have been like.

I feel so lucky right now and have more to say, but a quick update post seemed like a good idea. Nursery pictures in a few weeks!
