It’s official! The birth of our son is national news!
In case you missed it, here’s a link to the web version of our GMA appearance. They did a great job. Short and sweet, but perfect.

After 5 years, we still walk the path of infertility. 7 IUI's, 1 miscarriage, 1 IVF and tens of thousands of dollars later we find ourselves pregnant. The path is still not clear, but we take it one step at a time.

Oh! Baby “G” is beautiful! I adore you all for allowing this story to be published. So awesome. You help get the word out that it can happen, it does happen, and it’s not a shameful thing. Congrats on your more than beautiful family!

I was catching up on my blogs this morning on and went squealing through the living room this AM when I saw this post on my phone. My poor husband didn’t know what was going on! I am glad I had set my DVR to record or would have missed it!
i think it was a great segment, and I am glad all the Snowstorms, a earthquakes, vice presidential heartattacks, etc. finally stopped so they could run the story.
I think you both did a wonderful job- and I loved seeing Baby G’s smiling face. The funny part is that you look for like Mr. and Mrs. Shelby to me.

Wow what an awesome segment!! Oh, and to see that beautiful newborn baby boy squirming around in his vintage t-shirt. There is nothing more precious!!
My husband and I have triplets after 10+ years of TTC. They were conceived on our 3rd round of IVF+ICSI, because our diagnosis was also male factor. Interestingly enough, less than two years after our triplets made their debut, we discovered that I was expecting, SURPRISE, baby #4. All I remember is that my husband did this crazy funky dance. I think he might have even pounded his chest a few times and yelled HOOYAH! but then he realized, “OH MY GOD. We’re going to have FOUR children under the age of THREE!” And he promptly passed out.
Good luck – congratulations – and enjoy every minute. Even those spanning the hours of 2 AM to 4 AM. They grow so fast, you won’t want to blink!!
